My friend DVAN needed a poster for an impromptu music event and I made it. That turned into his logo, which turned into more posters, which spread through word of mouth to other collectives in the SF underground scene. I work in a brutalist and grunge visual language, dark, textured, typographically aggressive, which fits the music and the scene it comes from. This is ongoing work I care about, and where I eventually want to bring projection mapping into the mix.
